Somewhere to Stay
Meifford has two, quite small hotels, but then there really isn't much need with just the occaisional visitor to the town.
The Goat Inn is rerally the loacl public house, with a handful of rooms and a bit of a dodgy reputation. At least two of the rooms seem to be occupied regularly!
Most travellers would be directed to the Meifford Hotel, which is only a few steps further on from the station.

Reality ...
Both of these buildings are only there in shallow low-relief form (must remember to leave more room on future layouts), and follow my normal construction of foam board shells with internal floors for strength, plus mount board for the roofs.
The entrance and the main window for the Goat Inn has been constructed in wood. All of the woindows from these two buildings were cut out using the Silhouette cutter, with micro-strip added to the frames to give depth.
The pan-tile roof on the Meifford Hotel was my first attempt at making these and it seems to have worked out quite well.
